LA Bowls Club Bowls is a great game and Long Ashton Bowling Club is one of the best places to enjoy it. Offers free taster sessions Friday evenings. Contact information is on the website.
Long Ashton Running Group A key principle of the running group is inclusivity; encouraging people of all kinds to get out and enjoy running. There are two groups that meet on a Wednesday evening 7pm outside the Little Tipple; the main group who run for up to 10km, and a new slow running group that will run for about 40 mins plus some basic group coaching. Long Ashton Cricket Club is a long established (circa 1870) village cricket club based in North Somerset. In the last 30 years they have enjoyed some success in local league and cup competitions and seen club members go on to play first-class and test cricket. Health Walks These are aimed at individuals who want to start and stay active. Different distances are offered. Assistance dogs only. Use suitable clothing and footwear. Mondays from 10.30am. Long Ashton Road Bike Group The club is effectively a community road cycling group for road cyclists of all abilities, young or old, experienced or not, who would like to ride with other road cyclists from Long Ashton and the surrounding areas.
